Essential elements for all products

GATHER and Harvest owner, Lee Docherty, insists her products meeting the five essential elements – local, handmade, sustainable, creative and ethical.

Lee established the business in 2018 in the beautiful High Country town of Mount Beauty where she lives and has a small part–time team assisting her.

The lifestyle store and custom–built studio sees Lee handcraft her own range of natural soaps, bath bombs and botanically dye textiles, as well as candles, lip balms and teas.

Like–minded conscious consumers will find a range of beautiful lifestyle products which are carefully sourced from small, local producers right through to ethical and sustainable makers across the globe, including Fair–trade women's and children's clothing from India.

Gather and Harvest stock local products including Gundowring ice cream, Billson's cordial and sodas from Beechworth, local pieces from Silver Seed Jewellery, metal work from Whipps Designs, wooden products from Tawonga Designs and many others.

One of the ethical overseas products comes from Denpasar in Bali, where Ketut makes candle vessels for Gather and Harvest collecting used champagne bottles from hotels, bars and resorts.

Gather and Harvest is committed to reducing waste and has a refill station for beauty and household products.

Bring in your own bottles to fill up or grab a refillable container in store.

Lee prides herself on finding unique items that you will love but won't cost the earth.

You can follow Lee and the team on Facebook and Instagram, online at www.gatherandharvest.com.au or visit them 7 days a week in store.

As Lee says, "come in and visit, there is always something new to find."
