Snow news
A winter opening to light up the mountains

THE opening of the winter season is here and staff can't wait to welcome visitors to Falls Creek for a snow holiday in 2022.

They are planning for a great snow season with loads of activities and experiences for you to share with family and friends.

They have Falls Creek Guides for those feeling adventurous and wanting to explore beyond the resort lines.

As well as knowledge and experience of the backcountry, they provide a hot lunch and home–baked morning tea – a must for ascending a mountain and taking in the views.

Alpine Helicopters not only provide scenic flights of the glorious mountain ranges, but also offer a Heli–Hop service between Falls Creek, Hotham and Perisher, so you can do a day trip to explore the other Epic Pass mountains before returning to Falls Creek to enjoy some après ski at any one of their welcoming bars and restaurants.

Try Lakeside Bar and Eatery for cocktails by the fire while the kids are entertained in the playroom, or Apartment 3 for an extensive choice of premium beverages.

And you can't go past Astra to share a drink with friends by the fire in the beautiful sunken lounge.

Falls Creek's events calendar is looking pretty full this year to keep visitors entertained, even after a full day on the slopes.

There will be Twilight Tuesdays in the Village Bowl for some marshmallow toasting and a visit from Pete the Dragon and a Fireworks Fiesta every Thursday night.

Interschool races and the Kangaroo Hoppet are back on this year for those who like to move, and for those who just love to enjoy walking through the village while the trees are covered in snow, they've got you covered in an ultra–special way with their Festival of Light which will create laser–light magic through the village.

It's an experience you won't want to miss so get up to Falls Creek this winter.
