AFTER two years of limited events, the Bright Spring Festival will return bigger and better than ever in 2022.
The Festival itself will run from October 21 until November 1, with the Spring Carnival and Fireworks Spectacular taking place on Saturday, October 29 at Pioneer Park in Bright after an absence of three years.
Kicking off from 4pm, there will be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained including carnival and pony rides, live music, a petting zoo and laser tag where you can get a team together and battle your friends.
The fireworks will capture the attention of those young and old from 9pm and there will be plenty of food and a licenced bar for when you get hungry or thirsty.
Monday, October 31 will see the Monster Rotary Market in Bright from 9am until 2pm.
There will be up to 100 stalls covering everything from food, homemade items, craft, skincare,
clothing, and plenty more together with entertainment and a festive atmosphere.
Bright Historical Society will open their Museum in the former railway station on Railway Avenue and conduct tours of the Bright State Battery while art lovers will be treated to a spring exhibition at the Bright Art Gallery.
If you've ever wondered how to play croquet, head down to one of the oldest clubs in Victoria – the Bright Croquet Club – and take part in their come and try day on Thursday October 27 from 9am.
Plans are also underway for another community drive–in after the success of last year's drive–in, and will launch the festival on October 21, along with plenty more activities.
During the festival, there will be more than 16 Open Gardens showcasing the very best of North East Victoria as they bloom with springtime magic.
Workshops will be held at various locations for a small fee and include using native plants in your garden, an indoor plant workshop at Tatanka Gardens and Therese Graham will run "Making a Living Treasure – Kokedama Balls".

Alpine Perennials Nursery is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm and is located at 1828 Great Alpine Road, Harrietville.
Spring is a glorious time to visit Bright with fresh green leaves returning to the trees, bulbs bursting into life in spectacular colour and buds and blooms to enchant the eyes in every direction, so get your friends and family together and make a date.
